“Good People, Good Deeds: English Story Writing Competition 2016” Award Presentation Ceremony

To enhance students’ motivation in English writing and to pay tribute to those who uphold universal moral values, TWGHs continued its good work of organising the inter-school “Good People, Good Deeds: English Story Writing Competition 2016” in collaboration with the Education Bureau, the Faculty of Education of The University of Hong Kong and The Education University of Hong Kong.

More than 1,000 entries were received from local primary and secondary schools this year. Participants were divided into Senior, Middle and Junior Levels to compete for the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards at their respective levels, and 11 winners in total were selected. The Awards Presentation Ceremony was held at the Assembly Hall of Tung Wah Hospital on 8 July 2017, with Mr. LEUNG Kwok Wing, Joe, Chief Curriculum Development Officer (NET), Education Bureau, as the officiating guest.

A collection of the winners’ writings will be published and distributed to local primary and secondary schools to promote love, respect and kindness in the community.
