TWGHs Joint Primary Schools Soccer Ambassador Programme 2017 – Briefing and Teacher Training Seminar
Following the success of last year’s Soccer Ambassador Programme (SAP), which saw over 100 Soccer Ambassadors make tremendous improvements in areas like self-discipline, politeness, independence, motivation, ambition and caring after attending the programme’s various training courses and activities, TWGHs Lo Yu Chik Primary School has received a grant of $370,000 from the Quality Education Fund to further develop the SAP this year.
A briefing seminar was held at TWGHs Lo Yu Chik Primary School on 25 March 2017 for over 200 TWGHs students and their parents. Health and nutrition tips, as well as correct training methods for footballers, were explained to the participants. Mr. TSANG Wai Chung, Futsal Manager of Hong Kong Football Association, was also there to share his valuable training experience with the physical education teachers of TWGHs primary schools, so as to enhance the effectiveness of the training initiatives under the SAP.
Over 200 TWGHs students and their parents listened attentively and gave active and positive responses.
