  • Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme 2016 Silver Award (Website Stream)

The Internet permeates every aspect of our modern day life, allowing people to access information and services at their fingertips, and interacting with each other anytime anywhere. To facilitate the public, especially the disabled to access the Group’s website, as a means to promote the message of love and harmony, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs) has enhanced the functionality and adopted accessibility designs for TWGHs website, making it accessible by everyone including those using screen-reading software.

Co-organized by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer and the Equal Opportunities Commission, the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme aims at recognizing those companies, organizations and NGOs in enhancing their website’s or mobile applications’ accessibility functions. TWGHs was honored to be recognized at the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme 2016, with Mr Albert Su, Chief Executive of TWGHs representing the organization to receive the Silver Award (Website Stream) from Ms. Woo Ching Yi, Jenny, Chief Systems Manager (Industry Facilitation), Office of the Government Chief Information Officer at the awards presentation ceremony held on 19 April 2016.
