A letter from the Kong Chow Benevolent Association of San Francisco states that the association has transported 240 sets of human remains in 42 boxes to Hong Kong and asks Tung Wah to send them to the Renan Fangbian Hospital in the western part of Xinhui county and the Shaping Tongshantang in Heshan.
