主席引言 Chairman’s Introduction 時光飛逝，擔任東華三院主席的一年任期經已圓滿完 成。有些人說主席任期看似短暫，但每位東華三院主 席都須先以總理及副主席的身份，親身參與各項院務， 所以擔任東華三院主席的一年，是將累積多年的董事 局成員經驗，在這主席任期內一次完整而圓滿地發揮。 我與東華三院的善緣更為久遠，可溯至大半個世紀前， 家父及兩位兄長曾相繼擔任主席，故我自小備受家族 成員仁風善行所薰陶，幼承庭訓，以善行事。緊隨家 族行善足印，我自2014年起加入東華三院董事局，亦 與一眾前賢長輩、同儕及東華團隊相遇相知，深深體 會到「東華人」的精神、使命及責任。及至本年度榮 幸出任主席，欣喜能與壬寅年董事局並肩，志同道合， 齊心推動東華三院發展，實在為善最樂。 自加入東華後，我跟大眾一樣體會到東華行善的脈絡 如斯深厚，百多載一直碩果纍纍，能凝聚各方力量， 令本院的善跡無遠弗屆，所以能不斷吸引社會各界支 持東華善業。過去一年，新冠疫情依然肆虐，香港經 濟亦見疲弱。我特別感謝現屆董事局一眾成員同心同 德，彼此支持鼓勵，與我一同帶領東華三院跨過種種 挑戰。我特意將這份團隊情誼，加入這本《相集》的封 面設計中，彰顯壬寅年董事局成員於過去一年如何與 我齊心團結，並聯同各界應對困局，戮力服務社會大 眾。此外，能夠做出理想成績，我必須要感謝特區政 府、企業、資助單位與各方友好的鼎力支持、顧問局 成員及前輩的指導和教誨，以及本院每一位熱愛工作 的各部門各職級同事。《相集》內頁中每張相片、每 字每句正代表我對各位的衷心謝意，亦同時承載本院 年內各項活動的難忘片段，誠盼能成為各位「東華人」 的美好回憶。 年內，面對反覆疫情，我與董事局同儕帶領東華三院 百年善業，更覺任重道遠，時刻不敢怠慢。本院緊急 推出多項應對措施，積極聯同各界援助有需要市民， 讓不同社群在抗疫物資、服務、經濟及情緒上都得到 適切支援。除此，本院受社會福利署委託，先後營運 啟德暫託中心及檢疫中心，支援確診輕症長者、復康 中的體弱長者及安老院院友。本院獲騰訊資助及撥用 本院資源，先後推出兩輪中醫網上義診，為新冠病患 提供視像健康諮詢，惠及病人。本院亦響應「全城起 動，快打疫苗」運動，鼓勵屬下員工、安老院舍合適 院友，以及屬校學生等接種疫苗。同時，本院屬下寰 宇殯儀館亦借出遺體存放位置予衞生署使用，並開放 地下靈堂予業界免費租用，及後又將寰宇殯儀館轉為 新冠離世人士指定瞻仰遺容殯儀館，並為新冠離世人 士免費提供直接過境喪禮服務名額，好讓逝者安息， 生者釋懷。 年內的籌募工作，除了恒常籌款活動外，我們亦銳 意舉辦了多項「破格」籌募活動，以創新手法去拉近 東華三院與年青人的距離，讓他們更關注本院，更 多社群成為「東華人」一份子。本年度，我們建立 東華三院NFT Marketplace 慈善平台，創本港籌募 Time flies, and my one-year term as Chairman of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs) has been successfully completed. Some people say that while the term of office of the Chairman may seem short, every TWGHs Chairman must have been dedicatedly involved in the affairs and services of the Group in the capacity of Director and then Vice Chairman beforehand. So the year of chairmanship is indeed an all-out and all-round exercise of the years of experience previously gained as member of the Board. I have a long association with TWGHs, dating back more than half a century. My father and my two elder brothers all once served as Chairman. I was raised with the family tradition of philanthropy and I was taught kindness and empathy even as a child. Following the philanthropic footsteps of the family tradition, I joined the Board of Directors of TWGHs in 2014. Working along with my predecessors, peers and other TWGHs team members, I have come to understand and appreciate the spirit, mission and responsibility of "Tung Wah People". This year, I am honoured and privileged to have become the Chairman. Plus, I feel excited to have got the chance to work with my fellow Board Members 2022/2023 as like-minded people towards a common goal of promoting the development and charity work of TWGHs. Since joining the Group, I have had the same hearty appreciation as members of the public for TWGHs' deep roots of charity, which have borne great fruits over the past century or so. Such a tradition has garnered the support of various parties to make our charity work more sustainable, accessible and appealing to the community. In the past year, the pandemic has continued to play havoc on Hong Kong, resulting in a sluggish economy across the territory. Notwithstanding the headwind, I am particularly grateful to the incumbent Board of Directors for their unity, support, and encouragement in joining me to lead TWGHs through all these challenges. I have especially incorporated this team spirit into the cover design of this Album, illustrating how all the members of the Board 2022/2023 have worked in solidarity with me over the past year to address the challenges with different sectors and serve the community with no efforts spared. For all these satisfactory results, I also owe a debt of gratitude to the Government, corporations, sponsors and partners for their arduous support, to members of the Advisory Board and our predecessors for their guidance and advice, and to TWGHs staff members at different levels serving in various departments who are passionate about their work. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you with the photos and texts in the Album, as all of them captured the memorable moments of our activities and engagements during the year. I sincerely hope that they will make a fond memory for all "Tung Wah People". In the face of the recurring epidemics during the year, my fellow Board members and I felt that we had a great responsibility to lead TWGHs in its century-old mission and we never dared to procrastinate in the slightest bit. The Group launched several emergency measures and worked proactively with various sectors to help members of the public in need, so that different communities could receive appropriate support in terms of supplies, services, finances and emotions. In addition, the Group was commissioned by the Social Welfare Department to operate Kai Tak Holding Centre and Quarantine Centre to support the elderly with confirmed minor illnesses, the frail elderly in rehabilitation and residents of residential care homes for the elderly. Thanks to the financial support of Tencent and the allocation of the Group's own resources, two rounds of free Chinese medicine consultation were launched online to provide video health consultations for COVID-19 patients. The Group also supported the "Early Vaccination for All" campaign, encouraging our staff members, eligible residents of our elderly homes and students of our schools to receive vaccinations. Meanwhile, TWGHs Global Funeral Parlour loaned out body storage spaces for use by the Department of Health and opened its basement mourning halls for the funeral industry free of charge. Later, the Parlour became a designated venue for the visitation of the deceased with COVID-19. It also provided free places for direct transit funeral services for the deceased with COVID-19, so that they could rest in peace and their bereaved families could be relieved. In addition to our regular fund-raising activities, we also organised some “out-of-the-box” ones during the year to bring TWGHs closer to the younger generations through innovative approaches, so that they would be more aware of the Group and become part of "Tung Wah People". This year, we launched TWGHs NFT Marketplace, a new fund-raising initiative in Hong 2
3 主席引言 Chairman’s Introduction Kong, with charity auctions of various NFT artworks, including those by "i-dArt" artists, those based on Hong Kong films, portraits of Board members, Drago Cavallo created by the renowned artist Simon MA, "TWGHs NFT Artistic Creation 3.0 - Our Campus", a collection of quality NFT artwork created by secondary students from TWGHs schools, and all promotion campaigns launched in collaboration with Dr. AU YEUNG Wai Hoo, Benjamin, more commonly known as internet celebrity “Ben Sir”, etc. The Group was invited to be beneficial organisation in various exciting charity events, such as the “Inges Idee x AllRightsReserved 'UP WE GO! Reaching for New Horizons' Charity Sale of Limited Edition Mini Sculpture" and the “LINE FRIENDS MEETS URDU KIND-HEARTED CHARITY ROADSHOW”. Meanwhile, we also launched the “Man Mo Temple 175th Anniversary x Sanrio” limited edition stuffed toy set, extending our network in charity. In addition to that, the Group became the title sponsor of “HKAA 'HZM Bridge Car Parade' in Celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR”, with about 120 super sports cars and vintage cars joining this spectacular and lively parade. It was a meaningful and innovative way to raise funds for Hot Meal Service for the underprivileged, and to promote the close ties among Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macao. As to medical services, TWGHs provides free Chinese and Western medical services for about 900,000 people every year. During the year, significant progress was made in the redevelopment of Kwong Wah Hospital, with the completion of construction works for Phase I in December 2022 and the design and tendering of the new building for Phase II being planned and scheduled for completion in 2029. Chinese medicine services of the Group also saw a smooth development during the year. Tung Wah Hospital - The University of Hong Kong Clinical Centre for Teaching and Research in Chinese Medicine was relocated to new premises to provide patients with better and more convenient services. In addition to that, we successfully co-organised the "National Traditional Chinese Medicine Master LIU Minru - 70 Years of Research and Clinical Experience in Gynaecology and Obstetrics Webinar", with the aim of passing on the academic knowledge and clinical experience of Master LIU and promoting medical exchanges between Mainland China and Hong Kong. Education services are one of the frontiers of our engagement with young people. During the year, we were keen to incorporate innovative and technological elements to better prepare our students for the challenges of the new technological era under the trend of STEM education. With the assistance of Hong Kong Drone Sports Association, the first "TWGHs Junior Racer Championships" was held to equip students with the skills and principles of drone operation and to identify students with potential for training. Quality education brings great benefits to the youth. During the year, TWGHs Tsoi Wing Sing Primary School and TWGHs Fong Shu Fook Tong Kindergarten were relocated to new campuses/premises to provide a better environment and facilities for children to learn and grow. Meanwhile, in view of the gradual stabilisation of the epidemic, the Group arranged for TWGHs Student Ambassadors 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 to participate in exchange programmes in Singapore and London respectively, so that the students could broaden their horizons and become more equipped for contribution to the community in the future. As young people are the pillars of our society, we must stay focused on their different needs and help them face the challenges of life. The Group's Youth Hostel Project at Hollywood Road in Sheung Wan was under construction during the year and is expected to be completed in 2025 at the earliest, providing below-market-rent accommodation for working youths. Besides, the Group's Holistic Centre for Youth Development in San Po Kong was put into service in phases. It will provide young people with arts, cultural, events and facilities on par with international standards, with great efforts to promote youth development. Housing remains one of the challenges faced by the community and the Group has responded proactively to the Government's transitional housing projects in recent years. Among others, the projects at Lok Wo Sha Lane in Ma On Shan, Muk On Street in Kai Tak, and Lau Fau Shan in Yuen Long, proposed by the Group, received funding support from the Housing Bureau during the year to provide over 2,100 flats with bathrooms and cooking space to meet the pressing needs of families on the Public Rental Housing waiting list and those in poor living conditions. In addition, a number of new community service units were launched during the year, to provide a wide range of services for the public, including Fortune Library, Infinity, Sky Blue Club Men Development Centre and so forth. I would like to thank all the officials and dignitaries who attended the ceremonies. Please refer to the Album for the inspiring moments of the events. 新猷，慈善拍賣多款NFT 作品，包括有「i-dArt 愛不 同藝術」畫家的創作，以香港電影為主題的作品、 董事局成員肖像及由著名藝術家馬興文創作的DC小 龍馬，並推出「東華NFT藝術創作3.0 走入校園篇」 邀本院中學生創作NFT 藝術畫作，以及聯乘網紅 歐陽偉豪博士「Ben Sir」宣傳等。本院更獲多個潮流 創意單位邀請為慈善活動受惠機構，包括「Inges Idee x AllRightsReserved『UP WE GO! 邁上新景象』限量 小型雕塑作品慈善義賣」及「LINE FRIENDS MEETS URDU 善心 • 慈善活動」等，精彩紛呈。本院亦有推出 「文武廟175 周年紀念聯乘Sanrio」限定毛公仔套裝 作慈善發售，擴闊慈善網絡。另外，本院亦擔任「香 港汽車會主辦慶祝特區成立25周年港珠澳大橋汽車巡 遊」的冠名贊助，約120 輛超級跑車和古董車參與巡 遊，場面熱鬧。這不單以嶄新籌募新概念為基層熱食 服務籌款，亦宣揚港珠澳三地一心概念，別具意義。 醫療服務方面，東華三院至今每年為約90萬人次提供 免費中西醫療服務。年內，廣華醫院重建計劃於年內取 得重要進展，第一期的建築工程於2022年12月完成， 而第二期新大樓的設計及招標工作亦正在規劃當中， 整項重建計劃預計於2029年竣工。 本院中醫服務在年內亦發展順利。東華醫院—香港大 學中醫藥臨床教研中心已遷往新址，為病人提供更臻 完善及便捷的服務。此外，由本院協辦的「劉敏如國 醫大師從醫70年女科傳承學術交流會」亦圓滿舉行， 旨在傳承大師的學術思想及臨床經驗，促進內地和香 港的醫學交流。 教育服務是我們與年青人接觸的前沿之一，年內我銳 意加入創新及科技元素，讓本院同學在STEM教育趨 勢下作更好準備，迎接新科技年代的挑戰。在香港無 人機運動總會協助下，本院舉行首屆「東華三院少年 競速無人機比賽」，旨在讓學生掌握操控技巧和飛行 原理，並發掘有潛質的學生加以培育。 春風化雨，東華三院蔡榮星小學及東華三院方樹福堂 幼稚園於年內正式遷往全新校舍，讓同學可在更卓越 的環境及設施中學習成長。同時，有見疫情漸趨穩定， 本院亦於年內安排2021/2022及2022/2023年度東華 三院學生大使，分別前赴新加坡及倫敦參與交流活動， 使同學增廣見聞，拓闊視野，日後成才報答社會。 青少年是社會的棟樑，我們須繼續關注他們的不同需 要，以助其面對人生種種挑戰。年內，本院上環荷李 活道青年宿舍發展項目正在施工，最快可望於2025年 竣工，為在職青年提供低於市值租金的住宿單位。此 外，本院新蒲崗青少年全人成長中心亦分階段投入服 務，為青年人提供具國際水準的藝術文化活動及設施， 全力推動培育青年發展的工作。 房屋問題是社會面對的挑戰之一，故本院近年積極響 應政府推展過渡性房屋計劃。由本院建議位於馬鞍山 落禾沙里、啟德沐安街及元朗流浮山的過渡性房屋項 目於年內獲房屋局撥款支持，將合共提供逾2,100 個 附設浴室及煮食空間的單位，一解輪候公屋家庭及居 住環境惡劣人士的燃眉之急。此外，年內亦有多個社 會服務單位相繼開幕啟用，為市民提供多元化服務， 包括福全共物館、薈齡AI 生活館、男天匯男士成長中
4 主席引言 Chairman’s Introduction The Group is committed to promoting the sustainable development of Hong Kong. In line with the Government's policy objective of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, a ground-breaking ceremony was held during the year for the "E-co Village" planned and developed by the Group. The "E-co Village" is expected to be completed and ready for service in the 3rd quarter of 2023, making it an important base for environmental education in Hong Kong. Besides, the "2022 Open GIS Competition", which was organised by the Group's Geospatial Lab, invited participants to use geographic information systems to create web maps showing events or phenomena in Hong Kong, with a view to promoting the development of a smart city in Hong Kong. The Group is also committed to promoting cultural heritage and enhancing the sense of family and country among members of the public. In the exhibition "Inseparable Ties: Cohesion as Told by Hong Kong Historic Buildings" to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong SAR, the Group loaned 8 artefacts to the Antiquities and Monuments Office, including the plaque "Shen Wei Pu You" (literally "God protects all"), and rattan baskets used by Tung Wah Coffin Home for the bone repatriation service in the late 19th and the early 20th centuries, showing the public how the Group has offered various kinds of assistance to ethnic Chinese overseas and in Mainland China over the past century or so. We are particularly grateful to the Antiquities and Monuments Office for rendering its support to our conservation efforts, as the Office also presented a 3D printout of the Dragon-headed Fish in Man Mo Temple to the National Cultural Heritage Administration as a souvenir. In addition, a series of lectures was held in collaboration with various institutions, including Hong Kong Museum of History and the Hong Kong Public Libraries. We also worked with the Department of History of Hong Kong Baptist University to publish a book of research results on the history of nursing education in Kwong Wah Hospital, so as to showcase the important role of the Group in the history of charity, nursing education and medical development. To pass on the local traditional culture, we continued to hold the "Tin Hau Fest! Yaumatei". I led the ritual, attended by the Board of Directors 2022/2023, to express our gratitude to the Goddess. We performed a rite by putting the seals inscribed with auspicious characters on a scroll to offer the best wishes for everyone in Hong Kong. There were many other new initiatives during the year. In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong SAR, a historical photo competition was held to capture the history of TWGHs. With Tung Wah Coffin Home, the Assembly Hall of Tung Wah Hospital and other TWGHs historic buildings especially open to the public for photography, the event has successfully brought the message of heritage conservation to the community, as it enabled the public to learn about the cultural and historical origins of our historic buildings through photographs, and promoted the tradition and heritage of the Group. "To Promote Charity and Philanthropy for Public Good." That's the governance motto I set at the beginning of my tenure. It was inspired by a famous saying in Mencius - Jin Xin II, "Principles which, as held, are compendious, while their application is extensive, are good principles." During the year, I kept reminding myself of this motto, and I worked with other members of the Board of Directors and other "Tung Wah People" to achieve this goal, so that our services could carry on uninterrupted in the face of the epidemic, and that our charity work could benefit different walks of life. It has really been a great honour for me to be a part of this mission. Looking ahead, while my term as Chairman has come to an end, the charity cause of TWGHs does not stop here. Under the leadership of the new Chairman and the new Board of Directors, it will continue to shine and thrive, benefiting the general public and promoting the spirit of benevolence. 心等。我特別感謝各位出席主禮的官員及貴賓，在此 不一一贅述，大家可以從《相集》中細味欣賞。 推動香港的可持續發展，本院當仁不讓。為配合政府 在2050年前達致碳中和的施政目標，本院籌備發展的 「環保村」於年內亦舉行了動土典禮。「環保村」預計 於2023年第三季落成並投入服務，將成為香港環保教 育的重要基地。另外，由本院營運的地理空間實驗室 主辦「2022 地理信息系統應用公開賽」，廣邀參賽者 利用地理信息系統，創作展示香港事件或現象的網絡 地圖，藉此推動香港智慧城市發展。 本院亦致力推動文化傳承，加強公眾對家國情懷的 認識。在慶祝香港特別行政區成立25 周年展覽活動 「血濃於水：香港歷史建築中的家國情」中，本院向古 物古蹟辦事處借出8項文物，包括「神威普佑」牌匾、 19 世紀末20 世紀初東華義莊用於運載身故海外華人 骨殖的籐籃等，向公眾展示本院百多年來如何向海外 華人及內地提供不同援助。本院特別感謝古物古蹟辦 事處對我們保育事業的支持，該處更以文武廟鰲魚立 體打印模型作為紀念品，送贈予國家文物局。此外， 本院亦與不同單位合辦系列講座，包括香港歷史博物 館及香港公共圖書館，更與香港浸會大學歷史系合作， 將廣華醫院護理教育發展史研究計劃成果結集出版《提 燈者言：廣華醫院護理教育歷史》，展示本院在慈善、 護理教育及醫療發展史的重要地位。 本院秉承本地傳統文化，繼續於油麻地天后廟舉行天 后誕參神儀式，我帶領壬寅年董事局成員進行賀誕酬 神儀式，並於《天后誕捲軸》蓋上「風」、「調」、「雨」、 「順」及「啟稟」印璽，寓意風調雨順，萬事如意。年內， 本院亦新猷迭至，藉慶祝香港特別行政區成立25周年 之際，本院舉辦以東華三院歷史建築為主題的歷史攝 影比賽，並特意開放東華義莊及東華醫院禮堂等重要 歷史建築作拍攝，成功將文物保育的訊息帶入社區， 讓公眾透過相片認識本院歷史建築的文化風貌和歷史 淵源，弘揚傳統及承傳機構歷史。 「弘善揚道，博施利群」是我在上任之初定下的管治座 右銘，出自《孟子．盡心下》：「守約而施博者，善道 也」，年內我以此提醒自己，並與董事局及各「東華人」 以這管治目標同行，凝聚眾力行善，讓服務在疫情下 從不間斷，把善業深入社會各個層面，實在與有榮焉。 繼往開來，我的主席任期雖已完結，但東華三院的善 緣豈止於此，在新一屆主席和董事局的領導下，本院 善業會繼續綿延不斷、發光發亮，惠澤廣大市民，弘 揚善行慈道。 Mr. MA Ching Yeung, Philip Chairman Board of Directors 2022/2023 Tung Wah Group of Hospitals 31 March 2023 東華三院壬寅年主席 馬清揚先生 2023年3月31日

服務新猷New Service Initiatives 2022 四月至六月 APRIL - JUNE 15 東華三院「環保村」動土典禮 Ground-breaking Ceremony of TWGHs "E-co Village" 18/06 「環保村」更榮獲「環保建築大獎2021大獎 ─ 新建建築類別：興建或設計中建築 ─ 公用建築」，本院與有榮焉。 It is our honour that the "E-co Village" clinched the "Green Building Award 2021 Grand Award in NEW BUILDINGS CATEGORY: Projects Under Construction and /or Design – Institutional". 本院籌備的「環保村」項目舉行動土典禮，預計於2023年第三個季度落成並投入服務，旨在成為香港碳中和及環保教育的重要 基地。 TWGHs held the Ground-breaking Ceremony of "E-co Village", which is expected to be completed and commence operations in the third quarter of 2023. The Village aims to become a solid base for carbon neutrality and environmental education in Hong Kong. 我示範使用「環保村」的環保裝置，時任行政長官林鄭月娥大 紫荊勳賢GBS（右一）在旁了解項目目標及詳情。 I was demonstrating the use of an environmental protection device in the Village, in the presence of the Hon. Meanwhile, it encourages community members to share their skills and time and organise volunteer teams for community bonding. 我期望共物館可以匯聚人才，推動共享才能，為社區增添活力。 I hope that the Library will serve as a hub for talents and their skill sharing, thus making the community more dynamic. 勞工及福利局副局長何啟明太平紳士（右三）為該館主持開幕禮。 Mr. HO Kai Ming, JP (right 3), Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare, presided over the Opening Ceremony.
服務新猷New Service Initiatives 2022 四月至六月 APRIL - JUNE 17 東華三院－香港大學中醫藥臨床教研中心正式喬遷 Relocation of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals – The University of Hong Kong Clinical Centre for Teaching and Research in Chinese Medicine 新中心除設有5間診症室，更備有完善的中藥房，以提供中藥濃縮顆粒、中草藥配藥及煎藥服務。新址位置便利，設備更臻完善， 為長者及行動不便人士提供更適切服務。 The new Centre consists of 5 consultation rooms and a Chinese medicine dispensary to provide Chinese granules, herbal drug dispensing and decocting services. With a more accessible location and state-of-the-art facilities, the Centre provides more convenient and quality services for the elderly and the disabled. 03/05 我與董事局成員及高級職員進行切金豬儀式，祈求 中心事事順利。 The Board Members and Senior Staff joined me in hosting the Roasted Pig Cutting Ceremony as we all wished for the smooth operation of the Centre.

Strategic Cooperation Plan 04/05 09/06 是次線上交流會由中華中醫藥學會及成都中醫藥大學主辦、本院協 辦，旨在傳承劉敏如國醫大師的學術思想及臨床經驗，從而推動中醫 藥婦產科的學術發展，促進內地與香港兩地醫學交流。 Organised by the China Association of Chinese Medicine and Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and co-organised by TWGHs, the Online Webinar aimed to promulgate Master LIU Minru's academic knowledge and clinical experience, so as to foster the academic development of gynaecology and obstetrics in traditional Chinese medicine as well as to promote the medical exchange between Mainland China and Hong Kong. 為加強本院學生對國家的全面認識，本院與海昌海洋公園控股有限公司推行合作計劃，支持香港青少年到內地學習和發展。 簽約儀式並得到中聯辦青年工作部部長張志華先生送上短片祝賀。 To strengthen TWGHs students' comprehensive understanding of the country, TWGHs and Haichang Ocean Park Holdings Ltd. launched a Strategic Cooperation Plan to support Hong Kong's youth studies and development in Mainland China. 開拓連繫Engagement and Networking 2022 四月至六月 APRIL - JUNE 19 開拓連繫 Engagement and Networking 2022 四月至六月 APRIL - JUNE 時任律政司司長參與「共慶回歸顯關懷」東區家訪活動 The Then Secretary for Justice Paid Household Visits Under the “Celebration for All” Project in Eastern District 14/06 該活動為香港特別行政區成立25周年的主要慶祝活動之一，由東區民政事務署舉行，以關懷區內基層市民。 The Project, organised by the Eastern District Office, is one of the major events to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR, with the purpose of caring for the grassroots residents in the district. 在家訪活動中，時任律政司司長鄭若驊大紫荊勳賢 GBS, SC太平紳士（右三）與我了解本院方樹泉長者 地區中心的長者近況。 During the visit, the Hon. CHENG Yeuk Wah, Teresa, GBM, GBS, SC, JP (right 3), the then Secretary for Justice, and I learnt about the current situation of the elderly in the TWGHs Fong Shu Chuen District Elderly Community Centre.
開拓連繫Engagement and Networking 2022 四月至六月 APRIL - JUNE 20 時任食物及衞生局局長到訪東華三院戒煙綜合服務中心 The Then Secretary for Food and Health Paid a Visit to TWGHs Integrated Centre on Smoking Cessation 21/05 07/06 適逢5 月31 日為「世界無煙日」，時任食物及衞生局局長陳肇始教授太平紳士（左二）特意到訪該服務中心及本院流動戒煙診所， 了解多個創新戒煙服務項目，包括「寄住戒」免費郵遞戒煙藥物服務。 As 31 May was the "World No Tobacco Day" , Prof. the Hon. CHAN Siu Chee, Sophia, JP (left 2), the then Secretary for Food and Health, paid a visit to the Centre and the TWGHs Mobile Smoking Cessation Clinic to gain an understanding of TWGHs' innovative smoking cessation service projects, including the "Mail-to-Quit" free postal services of smoking cessation medication. 我分享本院以創新科技應對疫情 的經驗。 I was sharing the anti-epidemic experience of the Group through the application of innovative technology. 該活動由信山實業有限公司主辦，時任創新及科技局局長薛永恒太平紳士（右三）、 勞工及福利局副局長何啟明太平紳士（左三）與我均身體力行支持該活動。 The event was organised by RHT Industries Limited. 開拓連繫Engagement and Networking 2022 四月至六月 APRIL - JUNE 22 東華三院歷屆總理聯誼會周年會員大會暨聯歡午宴 The Annual General Meeting cum Re-Union Luncheon of the Association of Past and Present Directors of TWGHs 14/06 本院一眾歷任董事局成員藉活動維繫友誼，促進各位前賢繼續參與及支持本院 院務。會上亦選出該會本屆的執行委員會委員，以推動會務。 The Meeting cum Luncheon was held to strengthen the friendship among former Directors and to encourage their ongoing participation and support of the Group's affairs. The 2022/2023 Executive Committee was also elected at the Meeting to promote the development of the Association. 本院顧問局成員、董事局成員、歷屆主席和總理，以及高級職員聚首一堂。 Members of the Advisory Board, Board Members, former Chairmen, former Directors and senior staff had a joyful gathering. 我要感謝歷任董事局成員一直以來的鼎力支援，推動本院院務 穩步向前。 I expressed my appreciation for the staunch support from the former and current Board Members over the years, which has always been the driving force in TWGHs' steady development.
共襄善舉Support for Good Deeds 2022 四月至六月 APRIL - JUNE 23 共襄善舉 Support for Good Deeds 2022 四月至六月 APRIL - JUNE 何文法紀念基金呈獻：東華三院慈善粵劇晚會 Ho Man Fat Memorial Foundation presents: TWGHs Charity Cantonese Opera 01- 02/06 本年度的慈善粵劇晚會假北角新光戲院大劇場舉行，由鳴芝聲劇團擔綱演出名劇《花田八喜》及《紅樓夢》，為東華三院 檔案及歷史文化基金籌募經費，以供修復文物及推廣華人慈善歷史文化。 Performed by Ming Chee Sing Chinese Opera, the TWGHs Charity Cantonese Opera was held at Sunbeam Theatre, featuring two traditional operas – Mistake at the Flower Festival and Dream of the Red Chamber. 活動典禮Events and Ceremonies 2022 四月至六月 APRIL - JUNE 25 活動典禮 Events and Ceremonies 東華三院聯校歷史問答比賽決賽暨頒獎典禮 TWGHs Joint School History Quiz Final cum Award Ceremony 東華三院幼兒園聯合畢業典禮 Joint Graduation Ceremony of TWGHs Nursery Schools 09/06 28/06 該比賽讓本院屬校學生了解香港歷史及本院的慈善精神，提升他們對香港及本院的 歸屬感。我亦感謝香港中文大學歷史系客席教授丁新豹博士BBS出席支持。 The Quiz enhanced students' sense of belonging to Hong Kong and the Group through an understanding of Hong Kong's history and the Group's philanthropic spirit. My gratitude goes to Dr. TING Sun Pao, Joseph, BBS, Adjunct Professor of Department of History, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, for his presence and support. 本年度本院15間幼兒園共有345位學生畢業，約1,000名現場嘉賓與線上嘉賓一起參與該畢業禮。 There were as many as 345 graduates from 15 TWGHs nursery schools in this academic year. Cross-boundary students and some local students who were unable to attend the Ceremony in person were invited to share the joy of graduation through online streaming. 東華學院舉行是次頒獎典禮，以表揚在學業、體育和校外活動等領域上表現傑出的同學。 本年度獎學金獎項合共224個，獲獎同學161位，獎學金總金額達445萬元。 Tung Wah College (TWC) held the Ceremony to recognise students' outstanding performance in academic areas, sports and extra-curricular activities.
