高級財務經理

Location : Sheung Wan

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute accounting policies and guidelines to ensure the Group’s financial strategies and objectives are followed;
  • liaise and co-ordinate with different Divisions to develop or enhance various accounting systems;
  • plan, monitor and review the annual budgeting exercise to provide management with financial information to formulate the financial planning for next year;
  • generate and prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting policies, guidelines and practices within tight schedules and ensure all these reports are in compliance with statutory and subvention requirements;
  • review and monitor the daily fund transfers in accordance with the Group’s policy to optimize the returns of the Group;
  • supervise and provide guidance and appropriate training to staff; and
  • review and ensure the rules or policies issued by other Divisions are implemented in compliance with the Group’s policy.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • a recognized degree or equivalent;
  • qualified Accountant in HK/UK/US/Canada/Australia;
  • Associate Membership of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants or equivalent;
  • at least 8 years of relevant accounting and/or auditing experience including 5 years of post-qualification experience at supervisory level;
  • preferably auditing experience;
  • hands on personal computer skills and experience in computerized accounting system;
  • ability to manage full sets of books and accounts and consolidation;
  • tactful with strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skill for a sizable team; and
  • preferably exposure at both operation and group financial management levels.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience.  The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.  Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.  The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.

Vaccine Pass requirements:

Job applicant (if appointed) will be required to enter or work in specified/other applicable premises under the Vaccine Pass and fulfill the Vaccine Pass requirements in accordance with the Prevention and Control of Disease (Vaccine Pass) Regulation (Cap. 599L) and as stipulated by the Hospital Authority/ Education Bureau/Social Welfare Department/other authorities at any point of time during the course of employment.
