“TWGHs Halloween Charity Run” is a run event to raise fund for TWGHs Ho Yuk Ching Educational Psychology Service Center in support of the children in need.

About TWGHs Ho Yuk Ching Educational Psychology Service Centre

TWGHs Ho Yuk Ching Educational Psychology Service Centre (mentioned as “our centre” below) is composed of multidisciplinary professionals – Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Counseling Psychologist, registered Social Workers, registered Play Therapist, as well as registered Arts Therapist. We are devoted to provision of support services for students with Special Educational Needs as well as to enhance overall psychological well-being of the students by providing emotional support services and parent education. We foster students’ interests to learn, nurture their talents and empower students with skills and positive attitude for leading a fulfilling life.

Our center values provision of support services to students with ASD and their parents as a priority in our service scope, which includes training related to ASD in mainstream primary and secondary schools and publication of instruction materials, with the aim to serve Hong Kong education and social welfare field with evidence-based practice to enhance social skills of youth with ASD. Moreover, our center has always catered to youth who were suspected to have ASD as well as their families with social skills course and individual counseling. We strive to develop more support services to youth with ASD and their families such that families in need will receive timely assistance.
