本院再次聯同香港保齡球總會於2018年1月27
日假南華體育會保齡球場館合辦慈善保齡球大
賽，本年更獲金銀業貿易場慈善基金擔任活動
的冠名贊助。活動籌得的善款撥供本院的教育
服務，加惠莘莘學子。一眾善長、名人及演藝
界嘉賓組成45支隊伍，競逐多個個人及隊際
獎項。
大會邀得教育局局長楊潤雄太平紳士、金銀
業貿易場慈善基金主席暨東華三院前任總理
張德熙博士、世界保齡球協會秘書長、亞洲保
齡球協會永遠名譽會長暨香港保齡球總會主席
劉掌珠BBS太平紳士、南華體育會主席盧潤森
先生擔任主禮嘉賓。而「保齡球世界盃」冠軍
胡兆康先生,MH及香港保齡球代表隊亦一同參
與賽事，令參加者眼界大開、獲益良多。
With the support of the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society Charity Fund as the
Title Sponsor and the Hong Kong Tenpin Bowling Congress as the Co-organiser,
the TWGHs HKTBC Charity Bowling Tournament was held on 27 January 2018 at
the South China Athletic Association Bowling Centre. Being one of the fund-raising
highlight events of the year, the Tournament raised funds for TWGHs education
services to provide multifarious services for students. A total of 45 teams formed by
donors, celebrities and artistes competed for individual and team awards.
Co-officiating at the Opening Ceremony were the Hon. YEUNG Yun Hung, Kelvin,
JP, Secretary for Education, Dr. Haywood CHEUNG, Chairman of the Chinese Gold &
Silver Exchange Society Charity Fund cum TWGHs Former Director, Ms. Vivien LAU,
BBS, JP, Secretary General of World Bowling, Honourary Life President of Asian Bowling
Federation and Chairman of Hong Kong Tenpin Bowling Congress, and Mr. LO Yun
Sum, Andy, Chairman of South China Athletic Association. The participants were
attracted by and benefited from the games played by Mr. WU Siu Hong, MH, the
QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup Champion, and Hong Kong Bowling Team members.
