東華三院學生文物保護大使計劃
TWGHs Student Conservation Ambassador Programme
辦公室除負責收集和保存機構檔案及文物外，
亦肩負管理本院的文物館及其館藏品。隨著東
華三院何超蕸檔案及文物中心成立，辦公室能
有更多資源去收集和保存更多機構的檔案和文
物，本年度已接收1,249項廣華醫院的醫療檔
案，並制定相關的修復及數碼化計劃，包括病
人的出入院紀錄、產檢紀錄及手術室紀錄，這
些檔案均反映當時香港的社會經濟狀況及本地
醫療歷史的重要資料。
為向年青一代推廣文化保育工作，辦公室首次
與康樂及文化事務署文物修復辦事處合作，
於2 0 1 7年3月至8月舉辦「東華三院學生
文物保護大使計劃」。透過一系列課程和
活動，讓東華三院屬校學生認識華人傳統
文化及了解文物保育的重要性。除參與專
題研習課程外，文物保護大使更實地考察
本院的歷史建築及文物修復辦事處位於香
港歷史博物館的修復實驗室。另外，在文
物修復辦事處專家的指導下，他們為本院
文物館館藏的金屬文物─東華三院文武廟
和東華三院廣福祠的鐵鐘、香爐及燎進行
修復。
東華三院文物保護大使計劃分享會及證書

問丁新豹博士於2 0 1 7年8月1 7日至2 1日
帶領文物保護大使到北京進行文化考察，
參觀清華大學、故宮博物院及故宮文物
醫院。
The Office collects and preserves archives and relics of the Group, and manages
the Tung Wah Museum and its curatorial contents. With the establishment of the
TWGHs Maisy Ho Archives and Relics Centre, the Office has more resources to
collect and preserve more TWGHs archives from other Divisions/Branches. This year,
the Office laid down conservation and digitisation plans for 1,249 transferred items
of medical records of Kwong Wah Hospital including hospital admission records,
labour ward records as well as operating theatre records. These records reflect the
socio-economic development of Hong Kong at that time and could serve as a good
reference to the development of the local medical history.
In order to promote the importance of cultural heritage preservation to the young
generation, the Office organised its first-ever “TWGHs Student Conservation
Ambassador Programme” in collaboration with the Conservation Office of the
Leisure and Cultural Services Department from March to August 2017 so that
TWGHs students can learn about the Chinese traditional culture and the importance
of cultural preservation through a series of courses and activities. Besides special
studies courses, visits to TWGHs’ historical buildings and the conservation
laboratories of the Conservation Office located at the Hong Kong Museum of
History were arranged for Conservation Ambassadors. Under the guidance of
experts, Conservation Ambassadors conserved Tung Wah Museum’s metal relics
including bells, incense and artefacts burners from TWGHs Man Mo Temple and
TWGHs Kwong Fook Tsz.
A sharing session cum cetificate presentation ceremony for the TWGHs Student
Conservation Ambassadors Programme was organised at TWGHs Lo Yu Chik
Primary School on 8 August 2017. Dr. Joseph TING, Adjunct Professor, Department
of History, The Chinese University of Hong Kong cum Adviser of the TWGHs Records
and Heritage Committee, led the Ambassadors to a Beijing cultural tour from 17 to
21 August 2017, and visited the Tsinghua University, the Palace Museum and the
Hospital for Conservation, Palace Museum.

Department cum Adviser of the TWGHs Records and Heritage
Committee, illustrated the importance of relics conservation
to TWGHs Student Conservation Ambassadors.
