A number of distinguished TWGHs associates, including members of the TWGHs
Advisory Board, former Chairman, Board Members and President, were awarded
with Gold Bauhinia Star, Silver Bauhinia Star, Bronze Bauhinia Star and Medal of
Honour by the Government in 2017 in recognition of their significant contribution
to Hong Kong. TWGHs is honoured to work alongside them over the years to
promote our charitable causes.
As the longest-standing and largest charitable organisation in Hong Kong, TWGHs
has been serving Hong Kong for nearly one and a half centuries. The Group has
evolved with time and the city, delivering up-to-date and diversified services to
the public. This year, TWGHs became the first winner of the "Capital Outstanding
Charity Organisation Award" in the “CAPITAL Best of the Best Choice for Executives
2017” organised by
Capital Magazine
, which recognised our provision of high-
quality and customised services in response to public needs.

本年度有多位東華三院顧問局成員、歷屆主席、
總理及校長，獲特區政府頒授金紫荊星章、銀紫
荊星章、銅紫荊星章及榮譽勳章，表揚他們為香
港社會所作出的卓越貢獻。東華三院多來年與他
們攜手共建善業，與有榮焉。
作為全港歷史最悠久及最具規模的慈善機構，
東華三院已經服務香港接近一個半世紀，一直
與時並進，為市民提供多元化服務。本年度，
東華三院獲《資本雜誌》舉辦的「資本傑出行
政品牌2017」嘉許，成為首家獲頒「資本傑出
慈善機構品牌」的慈善機構，表揚本院致力為
市民提供高品質及切合社會需要的服務。
