東華三院王余家潔紀念小學勇奪「全港
中小學生慶祝回歸20周年歷史、文化
常識問答比賽」冠軍
東華三院王余家潔紀念小學參加由香港教育工
作者聯會及《紫荊雜誌社》舉辦的「全港中小
學生慶祝回歸20周年歷史、文化常識問答比
賽」。經過一輪網上激答後，該校獲得「學校
累計最高總得分優異獎」，並進入小學組決賽
5強，最後更勇奪冠軍。

in mBot 2017機械人大決戰」亞軍及
季軍
東華三院羅裕積小學的學生組隊出戰，參加
由香港城市大學、香港大學電子學習發展實驗
室和數碼港等合辦，並獲香港特區政府資訊科
技總監辦公室支持的「第二屆STEM in mBot
2017機械人大決戰」，分別勇奪小學組「六足
機械人」及「mBot足球」比賽的亞軍及季軍。

Schools STEM Project Exhibition
Six senior grades students from TWGHs Yiu Dak Chi Memorial Primary School (Yuen
Long) participated in the 20th Primary Schools STEM Project Exhibition with their
dehumidifier and won the “Jury Award” and “Outstanding Award” with much
appreciation from the jury and online poll.

學生參加第20屆「常識百搭」小學STEM探究
展覽，他們研發的吸濕器於評審甄選及網上
投票中均獲得不少讚賞，勇奪「評判大獎」及
「傑出獎」兩項殊榮。

wide Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Hong Kong’s Handover to the People’s
Republic of China Quiz Competition" organised by the Hong Kong Federation of

. The School won the
"Highest Total Score Award" in the
first round of online competition
and beat 4 other teams to win the
champion in the final round.
TWGHs Lo Yu Chik Primary School Won the 1st and 2nd Runner-
ups in the “STEM in mBot 2017 Competition”
TWGHs Lo Yu Chik Primary School won the 1st and 2nd Runner-ups in “6-legged
Robot Competition” and “Makeblock (mBot) Robot Soccer Match” respectively in the
“STEM in mBot 2017 Competition” co-organised by The City University of Hong Kong,
e-Learning Development Laboratory of The University of Hong Kong and Cyberport,
under the auspices of the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer.

Great Achievements of TWGHs Schools
TWGHs supports the employment of people with disabilities in order to provide
job opportunities and promote social inclusion. In recognition of the Group’s
commitment, TWGHs and its community services units and social enterprises
including TWGHs Jockey Club Tsin Shing Day Activity Centre cum Hostel, TWGHs
“WashEasy” Dishware Cleaning Service, TWGHs CookEasy Tuen Mun Shop, TWGHs
CookEasy Production Centre, TWGHs iBakery Social Enterprise and TWGHs U Deli
received the “Caring Employers” award in the “18 Districts Caring Employers 2017
Award”. TWGHs “Take a Break” Catering Service, TWGHs Enterprise Vegetable
& Fruit Processing and Supply Service, TWGHs CookEasy Food Packs and Delivery
Service as well as TWGHs Prosperous Integrated Service also gained the “Special
Award for Being Awarded for 5 Consecutive Years or Above”. The Award is jointly
organised by the Rehabilitation Advisory Committee of the Labour and Welfare
Bureau, the Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities, the Hong Kong
Council of Social Service, and the 18 District Councils.

誠日間活動中心暨宿舍、東華三院「智易洗」一
站式洗碗服務、東華三院煮餸易屯門店、東華三
院煮餸易生產中心、東華三院愛烘焙社會企業及
東華三院賞味軒，獲勞工及福利局康復諮詢委員
會、香港復康聯會、香港社會服務聯會及18區區
議會聯合舉辦的「2017年『18區關愛僱主』」頒
發「關愛僱主」榮譽。而東華三院自在軒餐飲服
務、東華三院創毅蔬果加工及批發服務、東華三
院煮餸易餸菜包送遞服務及東華三院華欣綜合服
務社則獲頒發「連續5年或以上特別大獎」。
