TWGHs Tang Shiu Kin Primary School and TWGHs Ma Kam Chan Memorial Primary School Won the “International Outstanding e-Learning Awards (2016/17)”
TWGHs primary schools have been proactively promoting information technology education and e-learning since 2014. Schools have significantly boosted students’ learning motivation as well as learning and teaching efficacy by acquiring new IT infrastructures, e-learning platforms and mobile/tablet apps, organising professional development and exchange activities for teachers, adopting innovative curriculum plans and pedagogies, as well as creating diversified learning environments.
TWGHs Tang Shiu Kin Primary School and TWGHs Ma Kam Chan Memorial Primary School were awarded Silver and Merit Awards respectively in the “General e-Learning Application” category of the “International Outstanding e-Learning Awards (2016/17)”. TWGHs Tang Shiu Kin Primary School adopted the TPACK (Technology, Pedagogy, Attitude, Context and Knowledge) learning model for enhancing learning and teaching efficacy, while TWGHs Ma Kam Chan Memorial Primary School utilised various e-learning platforms and mobile/tablet apps to expand and enrich e-learning opportunities for students, provide useful evaluation data to both students and teachers, as well as to encourage endless learning and creativity.
