Assistant Senior Human Resources Manager (Training)

Roles & responsibilities:
- Formulate and review the staff training & development policies and strategic initiatives, as well as plan and coordinate the related financial and budget activities in order to establish competitive staff training structure in alignment with the corporate objectives;
- facilitate the setup, development and implementation of a training base for the organization, as well as plan, direct and coordinate staff training programmes and exchange programmes to cultivate a continuous learning culture and a knowledge-based organization;
- oversee the administration of staff training applications/sponsorships to ensure the process is in a fair and open manner and in compliance with the prevailing rules and regulations;
- develop information technology strategies/systems in the fields of leaning and development as well as rewards and benefits management for establishing best practices and streamlining the current workflows; and
- provide executive support to regular/annual exercises as well as supervise daily office administration and operations and work on ad hoc projects as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- A recognized degree or equivalent, preferably in human resources and training;
- at least Grade D in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
- at least 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with knowledge on staff training and development; and experience in project management and system development;
- high proficiency in written English and Chinese and spoken Putonghua; and
- good communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
