Human Resources Executive (Staff Relations)

Location: Sheung Wan
Roles & responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, designing and organizing staff relations initiatives/events;
- manage social media accounts and mobile apps, including content creation, design/edit graphics/videos/audio files for promotional means as well as staff engagement activities with an amin at enhancing brand awareness, cultivating team spirit and nurturing corporate caring culture;
- assist in overseeing the progress of staff relations activities/project and coordinating the job allocation for the team;
- follow through the process of participating award schemes in the market;
- compile and edit work for Staff e-Newsletter by designing layout, typesetting and proofreading;
- provide administrative support in coordinating the Staff Consultative Committee;
- assist in formulating and drafting annual returns for the aspects of staff relations including budgeting, annual plan and annual report; and
- assist in maintaining the day-to-day operation of the Staff Relations Unit and handle complicated enquiries escalated by subordinate.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- A recognized degree or equivalent;
- at least Grade D in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
- preferably with relevant experience in staff relations/event management;
- proficiency in written English and Chinese, and preferably spoken Putonghua;
- good communication and interpersonal skills;
- preferably with knowledge in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator; and
- able to prioritize work, perform multiple tasks and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
