Introduction
TWGHs supports the Primary Healthcare Blueprint of the Hong Kong Government. In November 2024, TWGHs was awarded with the contract to operate the Central and Western District Health Centre and three Woman Health Centres (named as Women Wellness Satellites) by the Primary Healthcare Commission of Health Bureau through bidding. The Central & Western District Health Centre (including the Core Centre and Satellite Centre) and 3 Women Wellness Satellites have been in operational in the second half of 2025.
The Central & Western District Health Centre co-ordinates primary healthcare services in the district and act as a resource hub for district healthcare services by connecting various public and private service organisations within the community.
The Women Wellness Satellites offer personalised primary healthcare services for women, including health assessments and consultations, cervical and breast cancer screenings, and dedicated nurse clinic services.
