Assistant Information Technology Officer

Location: Central and Western District
Roles & responsibilities:
- Provide monitoring and support of the IT infrastructure and systems in the District Health Centre and Women Wellness Satellite sites, and other servicing points including different outreach locations;
- monitor and support the IT infrastructure and systems as well as maintain their proper IT security controls, and coordinate relevant software and system development by internal team or/and service provider;
- assist in troubleshooting any IT systems, networks and PC workstations’ problems and correct them with internal team or/and service providers;
- provide users with technical support and consulting services in resolving any IT operational issues;
- provide round the clock crash maintenance and technical support for the IT infrastructure and system;
- assist in developing training materials and conduct training on IT system, and advise users on course of action on operation, enhancement and workaround of IT system; and
- perform any other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- a recognized Higher Diploma/Associate Degree in Information Technology or equivalent with at least 1 aggregate year of working experience in the provision of system and IT infrastructure management, network support and maintenance services, preferably with practical skills in IT network support including WAN, LAN, firewall and WAF and PC workstations;
- effective communication skills in English and Cantonese; and
- able to work as a team with sound interpersonal skills as well as work independently with initiative and strong sense of responsibility.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $26,590 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 10). Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience. The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. The fringe benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
