Human Resources Executive Assistant (General Administration)

Location: Sheung Wan

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Render administrative support to the Senior Human Resources Manager in managing and coordinating the schedules and documents related to staff relations and welfare activities;
  • assist in planning and implementing staff welfare benefits (such as medical benefits and staff awards/grants) and staff functions (such as sports tournaments, award ceremonies and annual dinner);
  • undertake the initiatives to monitor the work schedule of all staff events/projects and coordinate with corresponding unit heads for ensuring tasks are being handled in a timely manner;
  • collect and consolidate the data/statistics/human resources information for various staff schemes/awards in the market with liaison and communication with different internal/external parties;
  • deliver professional services to tackle the requests from the user counterparts by communicating with the respective coordinators, gathering information and responding to the enquiries; and
  • assist in general office duties as well as handle ad hoc projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • (a) Higher Diploma/Associate degree or equivalent, preferably in Human Resources Management; or
    (b) 5 passes in HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics or equivalent plus at least 5 years’ clerical experience;
  • preferably experience in human resources management;
  • proficient in English and Chinese, and preferably in Putonghua;
  • good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • highly detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry and analysis;
  • able to prioritize work and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines; and
  • able to work independently with initiative and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 2-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
