Human Resources Executive IV

Location: Sheung Wan

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Responsible for payroll administration including the updating of HRIS personnel records and processing of payroll transactions as well as improvement of the operational systems to ensure all relating cases being handled in timely, accurate and efficient manners and in strict compliance with the corporate policies and the employment-related ordinances;
  • carry out the administration work for work injury/occupational diseases cases including handling of the relevant documentary work/statistics, assessment of cases and liaison with the Labour Department, insurance companies, adjustors and solicitors;
  • deliver executive support for the staff retirement schemes in Tung Wah including the daily operation details, updating of administration practices/system in line with the changes of the statutory requirements/corporate policies and review of the relevant policy issues;
  • process various applications for personnel services such as acting appointment, outside work/secondment, early retirement/extension of service, as well as issuance of certificates of service for temporary staff and income proof for personal needs;
  • handle communication issues relevant to the operation matters and undertake other ad hoc projects/tasks as assigned; and
  • supervise a team of clerical staff with guidance and support.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • A recognized degree or equivalent, preferably in human resources management/accounting;
  • Grade D or above in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
  • proficiency in English and Chinese;
  • good knowledge in MS Office;
  • preferably with 2 years of post-qualification administrative experience; and
  • preferably with knowledge and experience in payroll and work injury administration.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience.  The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.  Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
