Staff members visited the T•Park to enhance their understanding

綠色生活體驗
人力資源處透過不同活動讓員工學習在日常
生活中實踐環保概念。活動包括於2017年5月
19日參觀推廣可持續發展的綠色地標T‧Park
「源‧區」，由資深導賞員帶領員工參觀這座
污泥處理設施，欣賞后海灣一望無際的海景，
和學習園區轉廢為能、循環再用及升級再造的
環保知識。員工亦獲安排參觀「菇菌園」，學
習善用廚餘和咖啡渣等資源種植有機菇菌，增
進自然保育及源頭減廢的知識。
Experience of Green Living
The Human Resources Branch organised a range of green activities to raise the
staff’s awareness of go green in daily life. A green tour to the iconic green landmark
T•Park was held on 19 May 2017 where the docents guided staff members to
visit the sludge treatment facility, enjoy the seamless sea view of Deep Bay, and
learn about waste-to-energy, recycling and upcycling. Staff members also visited
the “Mushroom Initiative” to acquire knowledge of environmental conservation
and reducing waste at source by planting organic mushrooms with food waste and
coffee grounds.
Tung Wah Hospital
Tung Wah Hospital implemented and organised various environmental projects in
the year, including implementaion of the web-based Electronic Leave Application
and Processing System in April 2017. The Hospital also organised a programme to
collect used moon-cake boxes and participated in the “No Air-con Night” organised
by Green Sense in September 2017. During the year, the Hospital participated in
the “Earth Hour 2017” organised by World Wide Fund for Nature Hong Kong
and organised a campaign to collect used Lai See packets for recycling and reuse
in February 2018. Throughout the year, the Hospital continued to collect waste
paper, plastic containers, aluminum cans and other wastes for recycling.
Kwong Wah Hospital and TWGHs Wong Tai Sin Hospital
Kwong Wah Hospital and TWGHs Wong Tai Sin Hospital organised several
environmental events, including “Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Week”,
and collection of used lunar new year gift boxes, mooncake boxes and old yarn for
recycling. The Hospitals also participated in different environmental activities in the
community to further promote the message of environmental protection to staff
members and enhance their awareness on environmental protection.
東華醫院
東華醫院於年度內實施及舉辦不同的環保項
目，包括於2017年4月起推行電子處理假期申
請系統，並於2017年9月舉行月餅盒回收計劃
和響應環保觸覺舉辦的「無冷氣夜」。年內，
醫院亦參加世界自然基金會香港分會舉辦的
「地球1小時2017」環保活動，並於2018年2
月舉行利是封回收重用大行動。此外，醫院全
年進行回收活動，收集廢紙、塑膠器皿、鋁罐
及其他廢料作循環再造。
廣華醫院及東華三院黃大仙醫院
廣華醫院及東華三院黃大仙醫院舉辦了多項環
保活動，包括「安全、健康、環境及質素週」
和賀年禮盒、月餅罐和舊毛冷回收活動。兩間
醫院亦支持各項社區環保活動，向員工推廣愛
護環境的訊息，提升他們對環保的關注。
兩間醫院舉辦「惜食愛心」計劃，其中包括月餅捐贈運動，鼓勵員工建立
惜食文化，減少浪費。
To promote food wise culture and waste reduction, 2 Hospitals organised“Food
Wise x Charity” campaign, including mooncake donation and other activities.
