東華三院幼兒園聯合畢業典禮
Joint Graduation Ceremony of

畢業典禮假旺角麥花臣場館舉行，邀得社會福利署副署長（服務）林嘉泰太平紳士主禮。
The Ceremony was held at MacPherson Stadium in Mong Kok with Mr. LAM Ka Tai, JP,
Deputy Director of Social Welfare (Services), officiating.

發布會於浸信會天虹小學舉行，邀得香港教育大學幼兒教育學系助理教授陳惠玲博士
及香港大學教育學院副教授張曉博士分享研究結果。
The Press Conference was held at Baptist Rainbow Primary School. Dr. CHAN Wai Ling,
Assistant Professor of Department of Early Childhood Education of The Education
University of Hong Kong, and Dr. ZHANG Xiao, Associate Professor of Faculty of Education
of The University of Hong Kong, were invited to share the research findings.

天秀墟舉辦中秋嘉年華，透過工作坊、特色攤位遊戲、青少年表演等，讓居民享受節
日氣氛。是次活動吸引超過10,000名居民參加。
A Mid-Autumn Festival Carnival was held in Tin Sau Bazzar, where local residents shared
a great time with their families through workshops, booth games, performances by
youngsters, etc. More than 10,000 residents attended the Carnival.
最後防線－天秀

「最後防線－天秀」是新界西區唯一一個以萬聖節為主題的嘉年華，除了設置名為「最
後防線」的鬼屋外，亦加入「生命教育工作坊」，讓參加者有機會認識生死教育及如
何克服困難，別具教育意義。
“Last Cordon Line - Tin Sau” is the only Halloween themed Carnival in New Territories
West. Besides a haunted house named “Last Cordon Line” was built, seminars on life
education were arranged to enable participants to understand the meaning of life and
how to face difficulties in life, making the Carnival a meaningful one.

公會「餸」暖關愛社區計劃

HKAB's Food for Love Project
“We care, we share”

由香港銀行公會贊助，聯同東華三院屬下社會企業煮餸易餸菜包送遞服務合辦的
「『餸』暖關愛社區計劃」，由該社企製作營養均衡、款式多樣的新鮮餸菜包，送予7
個地區的獨居長者及低收入家庭，約有10,000人受惠。香港銀行公會的義工親身參與
地區活動，與受助者接觸和表達關懷。
The “Food for Love Project” sponsored by The Hong Kong Association of Banks
collaborated with TWGHs CookEasy Food Packs & Delivery Service, a social enterprise
of TWGHs. Under the Project, TWGHs CookEasy prepared fresh and nutritious food
packs and delivered them to singleton elders and low-income families in 7 districts in
Hong Kong, with around 10,000 beneficiaries. Volunteers from Hong Kong Association
of Banks showed care and concern to the beneficiaries through active participation in
different voluntary activities.

由過百名牙醫、西醫、麻醉科醫生及護士組成的義診團體，自費購買藥物及儀器，到訪
東華三院賽馬會復康中心，為225名院友提供免費牙科檢查及治療服務。
Over 100 dentists, Western medicine doctors, anesthesiologists and healthcare
professionals provided free dental check-ups and treatments for 225 residents at
TWGHs Jockey Club Rehabilitation Complex, with medical supplies and equipment
purchased at their own expense.

東華三院鑽石山殯儀館加強與醫務社工聯繫及交流，向經濟有困難的喪主提供免費殯
儀服務，以減輕他們的喪葬負擔。
TWGHs Diamond Hill Funeral Parlour strengthened communications with Medical and
Social Services Units, by offering free funeral services to families with financial difficulties
to reduce their burden on funeral expenses.

在展覽中展示由東華三院萬國殯儀館及東華三院鑽石山殯儀館設計的「殯儀計算機」
及模擬靈堂拍攝的互動遊戲，向大眾推廣生死教育，加深他們對殯儀服務的認識。
By presenting the interactive “Funeral Calculator” and a mock-up funeral photo booth
designed by TWGHs International Funeral Parlour and TWGHs Diamond Hill Funeral
Parlour, TWGHs educated the audience on life and death and also improved their
understanding of funeral services.

首度與環境保護署合作，提倡使用以「功德狀」取代需要焚化的「附薦包」，以無污染
的祭祀方式取代燃燒祭品，為保護環境出一分力。
A first initiative of its kind in cooperation with the Environmental Protection Department,
TWGHs launched the “Virtue Certificate” programme as a substitute for the less
environment-friendly practice of burning paper artifacts.

由東華三院兩所殯儀館舉辦，帶領參加者乘坐環保葬禮船前往指定撒灰海域，由職員
詳細講解，讓參加者思考生前規劃的重要性。
Arranged by 2 parlours under TWGHs, participants travelled to the designated area for
scattering ashes by ferry for eco-burial and walked away having a good understanding of
the importance of early planning for funeral arrangements after listening to the detailed
introduction by staff members of the eco-friendly service of sea burial.
