The “Let You See My World” Photography Project was launched by TWGHs Tsui Tsin Tong School in the 2014/15 academic year. Students were encouraged to explore and experience the fun in life as well as to express their unique views of and interactions with the world through photography. This helps to grow their self-confidence, self-expression and self-assertion.
Over the past 3 years, students have visited 13 spots around Hong Kong and applied various techniques in photographing people and sceneries. They were also encouraged to share their views and feelings towards the world through means such as flash cards, drawings and dialoguing.
The “Let You See My World” Photo Exhibition was held from 7 to 9 June 2017 at the Exhibition Gallery of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Talents and works of students with special education needs and their ways of seeing and interacting with the world were displayed to the public. The Exhibition also promoted social inclusion in schools as well as the spirit of mutual respect, appreciation, love, care and cooperation in the community.
Teacher and students of TWGHs Tsui Tsin Tong School introduced their photos to guests.
