TWGHs Yiu Dak Chi Memorial Primary School (Yuen Long) Volleyball Team Won in the “10th All Hong Kong Inter-Area Primary Schools Volleyball Competition”
TWGHs Yiu Dak Chi Memorial Primary School (Yuen Long) has been actively promoting volleyball as a way to build students’ physical fitness, confidence and positive values. The School founded its volleyball team in 2001 which, for 13 years in a row, has won the Volleyball Team Championship in the All Hong Kong InterArea Primary Schools Volleyball Competition. The Volleyball Team has received over a hundred awards over the past decade, and a number of its former members are now on the Hong Kong Junior Volleyball Team.
The Team represented Yuen Long District in the “10th All Hong Kong Inter-Area Primary Schools Volleyball Competition” in May 2017. After a display of solid technique and teamwork, the Team won the championship in the boys’ category against Sha Tin District. Team captain LEE Chun Hin, was selected as Outstanding Athlete for his excellent performance.
