Introduction

To enhance the public’s awareness on physical health, Tung Wah Group established the Integrated Diagnostic and Medical Centre (IDMC) at Kwong Wah Hospital. The Centre is equipped with advanced equipment and scanning facilities, and is operated by the experienced professional medical team who are committed to provide one-stop health-check services, follow-up services and specialist services to public and those in need.

IDMC’s health-check programmes including explanation of results are conducted by registered doctors. The Centre provides wide span of health-check services which are tailored-made according to the needs of different age groups and gender, ranging from basic health-check to focused health-check. IDMC also provides Computed Tomography Examination and Screening for Coronary Artery Disease, etc. Screening for specific diseases includes Cancer Screening Programmes, Screening for Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease and Metabolic Syndrome, Cerebrovascular Accident Screening Programme, Arthritis Screening Programme, Basic Dementia Screening Programme and Gout Monitoring Package.

Health Assessment, Physical Examination by Doctor / Consultation with Doctor	Doctors assess the health conditions of clients and make recommendations for: an evidence-based, age-specific health screening or assessment; clear and well-designed screening programs for patients with different backgrounds and family history; follow up actions with possibility of immediate treatment and rehabilitation opportunities for patients with abnormal screening results; tailored designed screening programmes for clients with different pre-existing diseases.
