連續5年獲頒「同心展關懷」標誌
東華學院在香港社會服務聯會舉辦的「商界
展關懷2016/2017」計劃中再獲嘉許，連續
第5年獲頒「同心展關懷」標誌，以表揚學院
過去數年在履行社會責任、關愛社群、關心
員工和愛護環境方面的努力。
連續3年獲「知慳惜電節能比賽—勁減用量大
獎（學校組）」冠軍
東華學院在香港地球之友舉辦的「知慳惜電
節能比賽」中第三度奪得「勁減用量大獎
（學校組）」冠軍，彰顯學院在推動環保節
能及實踐環境管理上的成效。
學生獎項
東華學院的學生於本年度表現出眾，共有79
名學生獲得教育局頒發自資專上獎學金，
總金額達190萬元。而就讀護理學健康科學
（榮譽）學士學位課程的李靖嵐同學，更獲得
「2016/2017年度油尖旺區校長會傑出學生」
金獎。
另外，由護理學健康科學（榮譽）學士學位課
程的3位同學所組成的隊伍，隊員有黃凱琪、
巫梓謙及張靖熙，在第20屆世界護理學學術
會議中發表「大專生缺乏參與運動成因的研
究」，並獲得最佳海報報告獎。

The 5th “Caring Organisation” Logo
TWC was awarded the “Caring Organisation” logo under the “Caring Company
Scheme 2016/2017” organised by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service for the
5th consecutive year in recognition of TWC’s commitment to demonstrate good
corporate social responsibility, care for the community, care for the employees and
care for the environment over the past years.
The 3rd Champion of “Power Smart Energy Saving Contest - Biggest Units Saver
Award (School)”
TWC won its 3rd Championship of “Biggest Units Saver Award (School)” in the
“Power Smart Energy Saving Contest” organised by Friends of the Earth (HK)
which recongised the College’s endeavors in supporting environmental and energy
conservation throughout its best practices in environmental management.
Students’ Achievements
TWC students attained outstanding performance this year. A total of 79 students
received the Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarships offered by the Education
Bureau, amounting to $1.9 million. Ms. LI Ching Nam, student of the Bachelor
of Health Science (Honours) in Nursing, won the “Yau Tsim Mong District School
Liaison Committee Outstanding Students Award” – Gold Award.
Besides, a team of 3 students of Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) in Nursing,
Ms. WONG Hoi Ki, Mr. MO Tsz Him and Mr. CHEUNG Tsing Hei, Timothy, presented
their research paper on “A cross-sectional study to investigate the association
between physical activity and barriers across tertiary education students in Hong
Kong” and won the Best Poster Presentation Award in the 20th World Nursing
Education Conference.
同時，學院的職業治療學理學士（榮譽）課
程於2017年6月取得輔助醫療業管理局轄下
的職業治療師管理委員會的專業認證，畢業
生可申請成為註冊職業治療師，於公私營醫
院、特殊學校、非牟利復康及社福等機構工
作。該課程更將於2018/2019學年獲納入政
府「指定專業／界別課程資助計劃」，經由
「大學聯合招生辦法」分配學額，而每名學
生每年可獲政府資助7萬元。
隨著職業治療學、醫療化驗科學及放射治療
科學學位課程相繼獲得輔助醫療業管理局的
專業認證，學院成為本港首間和唯一一間提
供認可輔助醫療學學位課程的自資專上院
校，為社會培訓專業的職業治療師、醫務化
驗師及放射治療師。
Besides, TWC’s Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Occupational Therapy programme
was recognised by the Occupational Therapists Board under the Supplementary
Medical Professions Council in June 2017. Graduates can register as qualified
occupational therapists to practise in public and private hospitals, special schools,
non-profit making rehabilitation and social welfare institutions. Starting from the
academic year 2018/2019, the programme will be included in the "Study Subsidy
Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors" and students will be recruited through
the Joint University Programmes Admission System. Admitted students will receive
an annual tuition subsidy of $70,000.
Following recognition of the degree programmes in Occupational Therapy, Medical
Laboratory Science and Radiation Therapy by the SupplementaryMedical Professions
Council, TWC has become the first and only self-financing institution to offer
professionally accredited bachelor’s degree programmes to train allied healthcare
professionals, i.e. occupational therapists, medical laboratory technologists and
radiation therapists.
