優質教育基金
在2017/2018學年，本院屬校成功向優質教
育基金申請撥款5,686,800元推行優質教育計
劃。各計劃詳情列於附錄E7。
免費優質幼稚園計劃
東華三院屬下全部16家幼稚園已由2017/2018
學年起參加「免費優質幼稚園計劃」，當中
15家幼稚園的半日班更無需收取學費，而師
生比例亦由原來的1比15提升至1比11，另增
設副校長及高級教職人員職位，為優秀教職員
提供晉升階梯，同時將增加20個教師職位。
東華三院幼稚園「童是藝術家」第二
屆藝術作品展
為持續深化屬下幼稚園的藝術教育，東華三院
再度舉辦「童是藝術家」幼兒藝術教育發展計
劃，並於2017年5月24日至26日假沙田大會
堂展覽廳舉辦「童是藝術家」第二屆藝術作品
展。開展禮於5月24日舉行，邀得教育局首席
助理秘書長（幼稚園教育）胡振聲先生主禮。
今屆共有359位分別來自5間東華三院幼稚園
的高班幼兒參與，以不同地區包括內地、香
港、印度、日本及韓國的藝術作品為靈感進行
創作。
Quality Education Fund Project
The Quality Education Fund granted $5,686,800 to TWGHs in the academic year
2017/2018 for launching quality education projects. Details are listed in Appendix E7.
Free Quality Kindergarten Education Scheme
All of the 16 kindergartens under TWGHs have joined the "Free Quality Kindergarten
Education Scheme" since the academic year 2017/2018, 15 of which no longer
charge fees for half-day programmes. Besides, the teacher-to-pupil ratio of our
kindergartens has improved from 1:15 to 1:11. Additional vice-principal and senior
teacher positions were created so as to establish a career ladder for teachers with
high calibre and add an additional of 20 teaching posts.
“Every Child is an Artist” Art Exhibition II of TWGHs Kindergartens
To further promote art education in TWGHs kindergartens, “Every Child is an
Artist” — Art Education Development Programme has progressed into its 2nd
year. The Art Exhibition was held at the Sha Tin Town Hall from 24 to 26 May,
and the Kick-off Ceremony was held on 24 May with Mr. WOO Chun Sing,
Principal Assistant Secretary (Kindergarten Education) of the Education Bureau,
officiating. This year, 359 students from 5 TWGHs kindergartens participated in
the Exhibition and created artworks inspired by contemporary Asian art features of
Mainland China, Hong Kong, India, Japan and Korea.
院音樂學院已確定為屬下4間學校，及另外4
間投標中的屬校提供音樂課程，預計服務合共
2,000名學生。而Kidenza則伙拍維也納兒童
合唱團音樂學院，為屬下7間學校合共500名
學生提供校本課程。
東華三院屬下幼稚園獲衞生監控體系
認證證書
東華三院屬下9間幼稚園獲香港品質保證局
頒發衞生監控體系認證證書，確認有關幼稚
園已在空氣、食水及食物方面訂立健康衞生
標準。另外，該局亦頒發企業證書予東華三
院，肯定本院在推動屬下幼稚園為學童建立
健康安全的學習環境方面所作出的努力。
綠色校園及設施發展研討會
綠色校園及設施發展研討會於2017年10月30
日假座東華三院郭一葦中學舉行，超過100位
來自44個本院屬下教育單位的校長和老師出
席。活動另安排校園視察團參觀不同的環保
設施，包括綠色廚房及魚菜共生系統，以加強
他們對綠色設施發展的了解，從而提升環保
意識。

Hygiene Control System Certificate for TWGHs Kindergartens
Nine TWGHs kindergartens received the Hygiene Control System Certification
from the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA) which signifies the
kindergartens have established health and safety standard in terms of quality
of air, water and food. The HKQAA also presented the Hygiene Control System
Corporate Certificate to TWGHs to acknowledge the Group’s effort in motivating
its kindergartens to preserve and monitor a healthy and safe learning environment
for children.
Seminar on Green Campus and Facilities Development
A seminar on green campus and facilities development was held in TWGHs Kwok
Yat Wai College on 30 October 2017 with over 100 school heads and teachers-in-
charge from 44 TWGHs education units attending. A campus tour to visit different
green facilities, including the green kitchen and aquaponics system, was arranged
for the participants to understand the latest school development of green facilities
and to raise their awareness of environmental conservation.
