東華三院中學聯校視覺藝術展2017
「東華三院中學聯校視覺藝術展2017」於2017
年5月8日至10日假沙田大會堂展覽廳舉行，
而5月8日舉行的開幕典禮更邀得香港教育大
學文化與創意藝術學系副教授譚祥安博士擔任
主禮嘉賓。
是次展覽以「生活‧賞美」為主題，展出超過
150份由東華三院屬下18間中學學生所創作的
作品，包括油畫、書法、電腦圖像和裝置藝
術，當中更特別設置「東華三院體藝精英學生
支援及獎勵計劃」專區，介紹該計劃中表現出
色的視藝精英，部分優異作品更被挑選結集成
畫冊以示表揚。透過展覽和畫冊，本院鼓勵學
生互相學習，啟發創作靈感，提升審美能力，
同時有助老師優化視覺藝術科的教學規劃。
TWGHs Joint Secondary Schools Visual Arts Exhibition 2017
”TWGHs Joint Secondary Schools Visual Arts Exhibition 2017“ was held from 8 to 10
May 2017 at the Exhibition Gallery of Shatin Town Hall. Dr. TAM Cheung On, Thomas,
Associate Professor, Department of Cultural and Creative Arts, The Education University
of Hong Kong, officiated at the Opening Ceremony on 8 May 2017.
Themed ‘Life, Aesthetic, Appreciation’, the Exhibition showed over 150 art pieces
created by students from 18 TWGHs secondary schools, including oil paintings,
calligraphy, computer graphics and installation art. A special area for the “TWGHs
Support and Award Scheme for Elite Sport and Art Students” was arranged to
showcase the outstanding talents of the Scheme, and some outstanding exhibits
were selected to compile an Album to commemorate the good work of the
students. Through the Exhibition and Album, students were encouraged to learn
from each other, get inspired and strengthen their ability of art appreciation. It also
assisted teachers to enhance the planning of visual arts lessons.

運用資訊科技提高教育質素
Enhancing Quality of Education through
Information Technology Application
資訊科技示範學校計劃
本院於2016年6月在屬下中、小學推行「資訊
科技示範學校」計劃，期望通過推動資訊科技
教育，有效改善和優化教學策略和方法，從而
加強學生的學習動機、興趣、創意、自省、解
難和溝通等能力。本院與著名資訊科技公司展
開合作計劃，以探索在本院中、小學發展電子
學習和資訊科技教育的各種可行性。
本院於2017年7月為參與先導計劃的4所學
校進行檢視和評估，結果顯示試行效果理
想，學校在學與教的效能上均有顯著提升。
計劃將陸續推廣至其他院屬中學和小學。
香港特殊學校第二屆機械人比賽
東華三院群芳啟智學校早前聯同香港機械人學
院舉辦「香港特殊學校第二屆機械人比賽」，
比賽項目包括「機械人足球賽」及「機械人軌
跡賽」。多所特殊學校派出隊伍參與賽事，場
面熱閙，競賽氣氛濃厚，參賽師生均盡興而
歸。本院於來年將繼續舉辦這項比賽，以持續
提升本港特殊學校學生對科技及機械工程的興
趣及能力。
IT Model School Project
TWGHs launched the “IT Model School” Project in TWGHs secondary and primary
schools in June 2016. With the promotion of Information Technology (IT) education,
the teaching strategies and pedagogies can be greatly improved, thus enhancing
students’ learning motivation, interest, creativity, introspection, problem solving
and communication skills. In collaboration with renowned IT companies, different
e-learning and IT education development possibilities in TWGHs secondary and
primary schools were explored.
The 4 TWGHs Schools in the Pilot Scheme have realised significant progress in
teaching and learning effectiveness with the use of IT and also showed positive
feedback and outcome in a review and evaluation exercise done in July 2017. The
Scheme will extend to other TWGHs secondary and primary schools in succession.
The 2nd Hong Kong Special School Robotics Competition
“The 2nd Hong Kong Special School Robotics Competition”, comprising “Robot
Soccer Competition” and “Route Planning Competition”, was co-organised
by TWGHs Kwan Fong Kai Chi School and the Robot Institute of Hong Kong.
Students and teachers from various special schools in Hong Kong participated
in the Competition and enjoyed themselves to the full. TWGHs will organise the
Competition again in the coming years to enhance special students’ knowledge
and interest in technology and mechanics.
