TWGHs Joint-Kindergarten Wushu (Martial Arts) Competition
“The first TWGHs Joint-Kindergarten Wushu (Martial Arts) Competition”,
organised by TWGHs and co-organised by Hong Kong International Wushu Cultural
Centre, was held on 15 July 2017 at TWGHs Wong Fung Ling Secondary School.
Dr. LEE Yuk Lun, JP, the Chairman cum Supervisor and Mr. YU Lap Kwong, former
chief coach of Hong Kong Martial Arts Team, were invited to be the judges and
prize presenters of the competition. A total of 260 students from 15 TWGHs
kindergartens joined the Competition to compete for prizes, at the same time
learnt from peers and acquired experience.
Territory-wide Young Children’s English Song Singing Contest
2018
In order to create a pleasant language learning environment for children to learn
English in a relaxing atmosphere, TWGHs has been organising the "Territory-wide
Young Children’s English Song Singing Contest" since 2006 to enhance children’s
interest in English learning and singing. The Contest attracted more than 3,000
children from 138 kindergartens, child education centres and child care centres this
year. TWGHs Fong Shu Fook Tong Kindergarten and TWGHs Li Wong Hing Cheong
Memorial Kindergarten won the 2nd runner-up of the Contest.
Joint Primary School Choir Training Programme
In collaboration with Tung Wah Academy of Music (TWAM), the Group organised the
“TWGHs Joint Primary School Choir” in the academic year 2017/2018 again. A total
of 173 sudents from 13 TWGHs primary schools were selected for the Programme.
A training camp and exchange activities started in early November 2017. The choir
performed at the Carol Singing Festival 2017 organised by the Child Development
Matching Fund and the 52nd Hong Kong Brands & Products Expo.
TWGHs Joint Primary School Sports Day
TWGHs emphasises the importance of students’ all-round development on moral,
intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic aspects and promotes sports proactively.
On 3 November 2017, TWGHs held the Joint Primary School Sports Day at Shing
Mun Valley Sports Ground, Shing Mun Road, Tsuen Wan, with Mr. LI Zhi He,
Lecturer of Sports Science Department of The Chinese University of Hong Kong,
officiating. A total of about 630 athletes from 13 TWGHs primary schools took part
in 14 field events and 27 track events, with 4 new records achieved.

Enhancing Whole-person Development
東華三院幼稚園聯校武術比賽
由東華三院主辦，香港國際武術文化中心協辦
的「第1屆東華三院幼稚園聯校武術比賽」於
2017年7月15日假東華三院黃鳳翎中學舉行，
邀得主席兼校監李鋈麟博士太平紳士和前香港
武術隊總教練于立光師傅擔任賽事裁判及頒獎
嘉賓。本院屬下15所幼稚園共有260位學生參
與比賽，競逐多個獎項，汲取經驗。
2018全港幼兒英文歌唱比賽
為營造愉快的語言學習環境，讓幼兒能在輕鬆
的氣氛下學習英語，東華三院自2006年開始
舉辦「全港幼兒英文歌唱比賽」，鼓勵小朋友
透過唱歌學習英語，提升小朋友對學習英文
及唱歌的興趣。「2018全港幼兒英文歌唱比
賽」吸引了超過3,000名來自138間幼稚園、
幼兒園及幼兒中心的小朋友參加，而東華三院
方樹福堂幼稚園及東華三院李黃慶祥紀念幼稚
園更奪得全港總季軍的殊榮。
小學聯校合唱團培訓計劃
本院於2017/2018學年再次與東華三院音樂
學院合辦小學聯校合唱團培訓計劃，共有
173名來自屬下13間小學的學生獲選參與是
次計劃，並於2017年11月初起舉辦訓練營
及交流活動。合唱團分別在兒童發展配對基
金舉辦的聖誕頌歌節2017及第52屆工展會中
表演。
東華三院小學聯校運動會
東華三院重視學生德、智、體、群、美的全方
位發展，積極推動體育運動，於2017年11月
3日假荃灣城門道城門谷運動場舉行小學聯校
運動會，邀請了香港中文大學教育學院體育運
動科學系講師李致和先生蒞臨主禮。本院屬下
13間小學共派出約630名運動員，參加14項田
賽及27項徑賽項目，最終創出4項破大會紀錄
的佳績。
東華三院田灣幼稚園學生於武術比賽中展示他
