Service Overview
安老服務
東華三院透過轄下64個安老服務單位為長者
提供社區支援及院舍服務，照顧他們各方面的
需要，讓他們安享富尊嚴及愉快的生活，達至
圓滿人生。單位資料詳列於附錄C1。
青少年及家庭服務
東華三院轄下青少年及家庭服務的服務範圍包
括日間幼兒服務、兒童住宿服務、青少年及家
庭綜合服務、專門輔導服務、學校社會工作、
學生輔導服務及輔導熱線等，合共有74個服
務單位，為有需要的兒童、青少年及家庭提供
適切的照顧、輔導及發展機會。單位資料詳列
於附錄C2。
復康服務
東華三院一向致力發展復康服務，推動殘疾人
士在身體機能、心智及社交能力上的發展，並
締造有利的環境協助他們積極融入社區生活。
本院透過轄下47個復康服務單位，為殘疾人
士提供日間訓練、職業復康服務、院舍服務及
社區支援服務；此外，亦為他們的家庭成員提
供輔導服務，並推展社區教育，加強社會人士
對殘疾人士的認識與接納，使復康者能融入社
群。單位資料詳列於附錄C3。
社會企業
東華三院營辦22個社會企業單位，讓社會上
的弱勢社群獲得各種培訓及就業機會，從而
發展個人才能，自力更生。單位資料詳列於
附錄C4。
公共服務
東華三院致力提供高質素的公共服務以滿足市
民對傳統祭祀、殯儀服務及殮葬設施的需要。
服務主要分為殯儀、廟祀及義莊3類，合共管
理18個服務單位，所得收入均作東華三院慈
善用途。單位資料詳列於附錄C5。
Elderly Services
Geared to the varied needs of the elderly population, TWGHs elderly services aim
at enabling senior citizens to enjoy a dignified and happy life through a range of
community support and residential services offered by 64 service centres for the
elderly. Information on respective service centres is listed in Appendix C1.
Youth and Family Services
The youth and family services include day care services for infants and preschool
children, residential services for children and young people, integrated services
for family and young people, specialised counselling services, school social work,
student guidance services and hotline services. A total of 74 service centres offer
caring support, counselling and development opportunities for children, young
people and families in need. Information on respective service centres is listed in
Appendix C2.
Rehabilitation Services
TWGHs has been very active in developing rehabilitation services to promote
the development of the physical, mental and social capabilities of people with
disabilities as well as the realisation of an environment conducive to their full
participation in social life.
A wide spectrum of services is offered through 47 rehabilitation services centres,
including day training, vocational rehabilitation services, residential care services
and community support service. Parent work, counselling and guidance services
for family members and community education programmes are also provided
to enhance public acceptance and integration of the disabled persons into the
community. Information on respective service centres is listed in Appendix C3.
Social Enterprises
TWGHs operates 22 social enterprises, aiming at providing a wide range of
vocational training and job opportunities for the socially disadvantaged, to develop
their potential to the fullest and help them achieve self-reliance. Information on
respective social enterprises is listed in Appendix C4.
Traditional Services
TWGHs provides 3 main streams of quality traditional services, through 18
service centres, to meet the aspirations of worshippers and the needs of the local
community for funeral services, ritualistic services and coffin home services. All
income generated is used for charitable purposes. Information on respective service
centres is listed in Appendix C5.
