東華三院特別感謝國家主席夫人彭麗媛教授於
2017年6月30日到訪東華三院賽馬會松朗安老
綜合中心，探訪長者及向院友送上關懷和問
候，並對院舍的復康設施表示欣賞。
當日，彭教授不但細心了解職業治療師如何應
用先進復康儀器為長者進行治療訓練，更親切
地與長者和職員閒話家常，關心他們的日常生
活。彭教授又與12位參加繪畫及手工藝製作的
長者交流，言談甚歡，並親切地與他們一起製
作立體花賀卡，兩位長者更代表中心致送由長
者繪畫的水彩畫《魚樂》予彭教授以作紀念。
本院會繼續致力為長者提供多元化的優質服
務，包括24小時專業護理及起居照顧、認知
障礙症專門照顧、專業社工輔導、文娛康樂活
動及紓緩服務等，讓長者能在舒適及健康的環
境中生活，安享愉快的晚年。

Chinese First Lady Prof. PENG Liyuan Visited
TWGHs Jockey Club Sunshine Complex for the Elderly
TWGHs are especially honoured to welcome Prof. PENG Liyuan, First Lady of
China, at TWGHs Jockey Club Sunshine Complex for the Elderly on 30 June
2017. Prof. PENG extended her greetings to the elderly residents, and was
impressed by the rehabilitation equipment at the Complex.
During her visit, Prof. PENGwas introduced by our therapists to the innovative
and high technology rehabilitation equipment at the Complex. She also had
a heartwarming, casual talk with a number of staff members and residents.
Prof. PENG then met with 12 elderly residents who were working on some
art works and handicrafts and made 3D paper flowers greeting cards with
them. Two representatives from the Complex presented Prof. PENG with a
watercolor painting, “Joy of Fish”, drawn by one of the elderly residents.
TWGHs will continue its effort in providing diversified high quality services to
the elders, including 24-hour nursing and home care, special care for people
with dementia, counselling services, cultural and recreational activities
and palliative care services, so as to provide a comfortable and healthy
environment for the elders to enjoy a happy late life.
