東華三院「家.長.愛」學院啟動禮

暨「與你同行」家長教育新里程論壇

「東華三院『家.長.愛』學院啟動禮暨『與你

同行』家長教育新里程論壇」於2017年9月16

日於東華三院黃笏南中學舉行,邀得政務司司

長張建宗大紫荊勳賢GBS太平紳士主禮,共

有超過300名來自伙伴學校的代表、社福界人

士、家長及兒童出席。「與你同行」家長教育新

里程論壇,邀得家庭議會主席石丹理教授SBS

太平紳士擔任主持,並由葉柏強醫生、伍家珍

校長、袁鳳瑛女士及家長代表趙傑文先生分享

現今家長面對的挑戰及如何透過有效的親職

實踐,支援兒童健康成長。

「e家.樂分享」計劃

本院獲食物及衞生局健康護理及促進計劃

支持,與香港大學公共衞生學院合作推行

「e家.樂分享」計劃,計劃招募兩間中學參與,

對象為500名中一至中四學生,參加的中學生

及其家人可下載「我的夢想家居」手機應用

程式,通過以家庭為

單位進行互動遊戲,

完成任務贏取「星

幣」為家居購置傢俱

擺設,從而增加家庭

成員間的互動,建

立「與人分享」、正

面思維」及「享受生

活」的概念。每名參

與的學生分階段填

寫4份問卷,然後由

香港大學公共衞生

學院跟進計劃的成

效評估工作。

健康家庭由學校開展計劃

獲優質教育基金資助,「健康家庭由學校開

展計劃」於2017年9月至2018年8月推行,為

20間幼稚園及幼兒園的學生家長提供親職

教育課程,於每間學校招募家長大使及同行

家長。家長大使會接受6節訓練,通過考核後,

會與社工合作為同行家長於校內進行12節親

職教育課程。計劃亦包括3次有關口腔護理、

運動及營養的聯校講座、家訪、網上學習平台,

以及為有興趣推行此計劃的學校提供到校諮

詢服務。

The Kick-off Ceremony of TWGHs Parents Academy cum

Sharing Forum on Parent Education

The Kick-off Ceremony of TWGHs Parents Academy was held on 16 September

2017, with the Hon. CHEUNG Kin Chung, Matthew, GBM, GBS, JP, Chief Secretary

for Administration, officiating. A parent education forum was also held on the same

day and well attended by over 300 people, including parents and professionals

from the education and

social welfare sectors. The

meeting was moderated by

Prof. Daniel SHEK, SBS, JP,

Chairmanof the FamilyCouncil,

with Dr. Patrick IP, School

Principal, Ms. NG Ka Chun,

Ms. Shirley YUEN, and parent

representative Mr. Calvin CHIU

as speakers. Ideas were

exchanged on the challenges

of parents and the role of

effective parenting for the

growth of children.

SME App Project

The SME (Sharing, Mind, Enjoyment) App Project is funded by the Health Care and

Promotion Fund of the Food and Health Bureau and co-organised with the School

of Public Health of The University of Hong Kong. Designed for 500 participants,

the Project has recruited 2 secondary schools targeting Form 1 to Form 4 students.

The students and their family members taking part in the Project can download

the “My Dream Home” App to participate in interactive online games as family-

based teams. By completing the specified missions, star tokens can be earned to

buy furniture and home accessories. Through the activity, students and their family

members can understand better the concepts of sharing, positive thinking and life

enjoyment. Each participant is required to complete 4 questionnaires during the

Project period, with evaluation conducted by the School of Public Health of The

University of Hong Kong.

Healthy Start @ School Project

Funded by Quality Education Fund, the “Healthy Start @ School Project” started

in September 2017 for scheduled completion in August 2018. The Project

involves providing an intensive parenting education programme to the parents

of students in 20 kindergartens and nursery schools. Each school has recruited

Parent Ambassadors and Healthy Start Parents (HSPs). Parent Ambassadors have

received 6 sessions of training before

they can work with the social worker

to conduct 12 parenting sessions

for HSPs. The Project also includes 3

joint school talks on mouth hygiene,

physical activity and nutrition, home

visits to HSPs, an online learning

platform, and consultation service to

schools interested in organising this

Project on their own.
