東華三院飄雪夢幻天秀墟
東華三院獲民政事務總署資助，於2017年12月
中旬至2018年1月初，在東華三院天秀墟舉辦
集合娛樂及行善助人元素的「飄雪夢幻天秀
墟」大型嘉年華會，並於2017年12月15日舉
行啟動禮，由署理民政事務總署署長黃海韻
太平紳士、元朗區議會主席沈豪傑議員、主席
李鋈麟博士太平紳士主禮，董事局成員和多名
嘉賓亦有出席支持。
這個充滿歐陸色彩的嘉年華特別引入3D投影
匯演，配以特別飄雪效果，全面提升現場的視
覺及聽覺享受。此外，會場內佈置為色彩繽紛
的歐陸式小屋，讓市民猶如置身在冬天的北歐
中，渡過一個別開生面的白色聖誕。場內也設有
多個手工藝、遊樂活動及食物攤位，大部份由東
華三院旗下的社會企業及屬下單位主理，希望
藉著嘉年華這宣傳平台，加深社會各界對東華
三院服務的認識，尤其對弱勢社群的支援。為了
促進社會共融，達致關懷弱勢社群的目標，大會
更舉辦多場社區同樂日，邀請獨居長者、復康
人士、單親家庭等基層人士，免費到場參與各項
遊樂及攤位活動。為期20天的嘉年華會共吸引
了逾11萬人次進場，反應熱烈。
迎狗年宵在天秀
在農曆新年這個喜氣洋洋的節日，東華三院與
元朗民政事務處於2018年2月10日至15日再次
在天水圍的天秀墟合辦「迎狗年宵在天秀」，設
置特色年宵及遊戲攤位、22米長新年街景和天
秀小熊火車站佈
置，更特別放置8
米高的許願桃花
樹，讓市民留影
拍照，並祝願狗
年豐足美滿。

The Community Enjoyed the Festive Seasons with Tin Sau Bazaar
Year of the Dog Fair @ Tin Sau Bazaar
During the jubilant season of Chinese New Year, TWGHs jointly organised the
“Year of the Dog Fair @ Tin Sau Bazaar” in Tin Shui Wai with Yuen Long District
Office from 10 to 15 February 2018. In addition to the 22-metre long street
scene with Chinese New Year decorations and train station backdrops,
there were thematic and game stalls at the Fair. Visitors could enjoy
snapping as many pictures as they like in front of the 8-metre
peach tree, and prayed for prosperity in the Year of
the Dog.

TWGHs Snow & Fantasy @ Tin Sau Bazaar
With the support of Home Affairs Department, the “TWGHs Snow& Fantasy
@ Tin Sau Bazaar” was held from mid-December 2017 to early January
2018. The Snowy carnival was held at TWGHs Tin Sau Bazaar for celebration
of seasonal holidays, achieving the dual purposes of entertainment and
charity. The Kick-off Ceremony was held on 15 December 2017 with
Miss WONG Hoi Wan, Charmaine, JP, Acting Director of Home Affairs
Department, Mr. SHUM Ho Kit, Chairman of Yuen Long District Council, and
Dr. LEE Yuk Lun, JP, the Chairman, officiating. Boards Members and guests
also attended to show their support.
The features of the carnival were its 3D light showand snowperformancewith
special sound and lighting effect for enhancing visual and aural experiences.
The venue was decorated with Nordic outlook, incorporating Christmas trees,
cartoon figures, arts and craft stalls, game stalls and food stalls operated by
TWGHs social enterprises, to promote the image of TWGHs services and the
sense of social cohesion and to support the underprivileged groups through
the platform of carnival. To serve more disadvantaged families, community
fun days for elderly singleton, disabled persons and single parents, were
also organised to share the happiness. The 20
-
day carnival has attracted
more than 110,000 people.
