「樂在社群」
東華三院樂群家居照顧服務及東華三院樂群
地區支援中心一直致力為殘疾人士建立一個共
融及關愛的社區。這兩個服務團隊延續往年的
工作，今年繼續舉辦「樂在社群」系列活動，包
括於2017年6月17日舉行的「轉出融情」活動，
邀請社區人士組成小隊，體驗行動不便人士在
日常生活中面對的困難。此外，服務團隊又於
2017年9月16日舉辦「共享滾球樂」，讓殘疾
人士伙拍長者一起體驗硬地滾球的樂趣；及於
2017年11月4日在東涌逸東邨舉辦「東涌嘉年
華」活動，將關愛共融的訊息帶給區內的居民。
Art上老爺車x愛不同嘉年華
獲亮蒸蒸洗車公司的支持，「愛不同藝術」於
2017年11月5日在東華三院賽馬會復康中心平
台舉行「Art上老爺車 x 愛不同嘉年華」籌款活
動，為殘疾人士的藝術發展籌募經費。
當日共展出14輛老爺車作展覽拍照之用，又接
載院友遊車河，以及在社區進行義載活動。此
外，活動亦安排數輛「蒸汽洗車車」提供洗車
服務，以作籌募善款，並安排藝術家繪畫老爺
車畫作進行義賣。
東華三院「奔向共融」─ 香港賽馬會
特殊馬拉松2018
在香港賽馬會慈善信託基金慷慨資助下，東
華三院於2018年1月14日假添馬公園、中西
區海濱長廊及龍和道舉行一年一度的復康界
盛事 -「奔向共融」─ 香港賽馬會特殊馬拉
松，吸引了3,930名來自不同地區的智障跑手
及其伴跑員參加，參與人數再次打破紀錄。
今年的賽事增設「陪你跑．出色」籌款活動，為東
華三院「愛不同藝術i-dArt」籌募營運經費，藉
此推動不同能力人士的藝術發展及成就，讓更
多不同能力的藝術愛好者投入創作，發揮才能。
此外，8間來自本院屬下及南區的中學，聯繫了
10間智障人士單位，於2017年9月至12月期間
進行了「學校共融」長跑訓練計劃。比賽當日，
本院屬校學生更與一同訓練的智障人士參與馬
拉松比賽，進一步推動社會共融。
Having Fun in the Community
TWGHs Lok Kwan Home Care Service and TWGHs Lok Kwan District Support Centre
are dedicated to establishing an Inclusive and caring community. The service teams
organised a range of activities under the “Fun in Community” Project, including
“Wheel of Care and Love” on 17 June 2017 when participants were invited to
form groups and join experiential activities to have a better understanding of
the difficulties encountered by people with disabilities in their daily living. Besides,
“Share the Joy of Boccia Together” was organised on 16 September 2017, pairing
the disabled with the elderly to enjoy the fun of the sport. In addition, the “Tung
Chung Carnival” was held on 4 November 2017 in Tung Chung at Yat Tung Estate,
with an aim of promoting the concept of caring community and social inclusion
amongst local residents.
Art in Classic Cars X i-dArt Carnival
Co-organised with Tornado Steam Expert, i-dArt held the “Art in Classic Cars x
i-dArt Carnival” charity event at the podium of TWGHs Jockey Club Rehabilitation
Complex on 5 November 2017 to raise funds for art development for the disabled.
A total of 14 classic cars were shown for photo-taking and providing free
pleasure rides for service users and charity rides for community members. Charity
car washes were also performed for car owners and paintings by artists were also
sold to raise funds.
TWGHs “iRun” – Hong Kong Jockey Club Special Marathon 2018
With the generous support from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust,
TWGHs “iRun” – Hong Kong Jockey Club Special Marathon 2018, a signature
event in the rehabilitation service sector, was successfully held on 14 January 2018
at Tamar Park, Central and Western District Promenade (Central Section) and Lung
Wo Road. “iRun 2018” attracted a record-breaking 3,930 runners with intellectual
disabilities and their buddies from Hong Kong and overseas areas.
Adding special significance to the Marathon for the intellectually disabled, an “iRun
for Colour” fund-raising event was launched this year to raise funds for TWGHs
i-dArt, which promotes art development for people with different abilities and
provides opportunities for art lovers to realise their potential.
Moreover, 8 secondary schools of TWGHs and Southern District connected
with 10 service centres for the disabled to introduce the “Inclusion in School”
Running Training Programme. On the iRun day, the students paired up with their
disabled training partners to participate in the Marathon to further promote
social inclusion.
