Location: Sheung Wan

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Corporate Communications Division in formulating and implementing the annual working plan and budget of the Division;
  • lead the team in the production of internal and external communication materials, including press releases, corporate publications, multi-media and website content;
  • explore opportunities to promote corporate image by delivering effective media communication programs such as media interviews and press events, and to monitor their success;
  • develop new brand building initiatives and marketing strategies that are consistent with TWGHs’ organisation brand and mission;
  • exercise professionalism when handling crisis and complaints, and ensure adequate communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders; and
  • identify staff training needs, plan and implement internal staff training and development programmes.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • A recognized degree or equivalent;
  • at least 8 years’ post qualification experience at managerial level in corporate communications, brand building, media, marketing and people management;
  • proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • good media networking; and
  • expert copywriting skills.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience.  The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.  Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.  The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
